About Ludopoli
Ludopoli was founded in 2008 by Dietrich Baenziger and Max Ackermann. Our vision has always been to unite exceptional design with handcrafted code to create web-based applications and services that are intuitive and fun to use and work as they should.
Ludopoli has presence in Zurich, Prague and London and over time, we managed to assemble a fantastic team of thinkers, designers, developers, strategists and consultants to help us turn our vision into reality every day.

Dietrich Baenziger Managing Director
Dietrich co-founded Ludopoli in 2008. As principal project manager he offers valuable insights into current and future technology and business strategies. Dietrich supports the development team with his expertise in standard-compliant and accessible front-end code.
Dietrich has a MA in Political Communications and a BA in Communications and Cultural Studies. Throughout his studies he has been consulting the Council of Europe’s Directorate of Youth and Sport on youth policy with a special focus on youth participation and democracy in Eastern Europe and Russia in particular. He is also a co-author of the Europen Charter on the Participation of Young People in Local and Regional Life and Have your Say!
Dietrich grew up in Switzerland and has lived in London, Moscow, Lisbon and Prague. He divides his time between the offices in Zurich, Prague and London.

Max Ackermann Director & Design Lead
Max leads the design team and co-founded Ludopoli in 2008. A trained graphic designer (BA Graphic Design at Central Saint Martins College) but technically minded, he works in close partnership with our developers. Max’s experience and grasp of both user and technical requirements has led him to consult several Global 500 companies on user experience and user interface design.
He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and teaches twice weekly at Central Saint Martins College in London as Head of Design & Interaction of BA Graphic Design.
Max has recently spoken about how Ludopoli's service PlusPad can aid collaborative e-learning at A Space for Assessment at Kingston University as well as EduCamp 2010 at the University of the Arts London.
Max grew up in Germany and has lived in both California and Wales, where he attended the United World College of the Atlantic. He now resides in London. You can find out more at www.maxackermann.com

Vladimir Slavin CTO
Vladimir heads the development team at Ludopoli.
He earned his first degree from Polytechnic Institute in Vladimir, Russia, which he continued at Czech Technical University's Nuclear Physics faculty in Prague. Vladimir is currently studying part-time for his MBA at Open University UK.
He has lived in Moscow, Vladimir, Yerevan (Armenia) and now resides in Prague.

Sergey Makridenkov Developer
Sergey is part of Ludopoli’s development team and has been involved in most of Ludopoli's projects, including PlusPad, SAL, Teamflaire and Flowli.
He gained degrees in Computer Software and Automated Systems from Smolensk Technical School, as well as Information Technology from the Modern University for the Humanities.
Sergey has lived in Smolensk and St Petersburg, and now resides in Prague.

Felix Ackermann Designer
Felix is part of Ludopoli’s design team.
Felix graduated from Central Saint Martins College in 2009 with First Class Honours in BA Graphic Design, after spending his first two undergraduate years at Curtin University of Perth, Australia.
As a freelancer, he has worked on projects for City & Guilds, Birke & Partner, and Queen Rania of Jordan. He has a special interest in pushing the boundaries of conventional typography and his work has been featured in Wallpaper magazine, among other arts and design related publications. Felix has spoken at Typography Day, an international typography conference.
Felix grew up in Germany and has lived in both Swaziland and Australia. He now resides in London.

Anne Bostanci Consultant
A rigorously logical analyst, Anne regularly works for Ludopoli as a communications consultant.
Anne completed her BA Communication and Cultural Studies at Goldsmiths College, University of London, and MA International Studies at the Centre for the Study of Democracy, University of Westminster, with a double first. She is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, has worked in politics and taught politics, cultural studies and design related subjects in several countries. Currently, she is working on her PhD thesis at the University of Surrey, Guildford.
Anne grew up in Germany, but has also lived in Turkey, and now resides in London.
Ana Botelho de Azevedo Consultant
Ana is a trained sociologist and teacher and works for Ludopoli as educational consultant with a special focus on group dynamics, team building in distributed teams and e-learning.
Originally from Portugal, Ana completed her MA in Sociology at the University of Huelva in Spain after which she worked for the Portuguese High Commission on Immigration and as a freelance trainer.
Ana has lived in Lisbon, Montreal, Singapore, Bafata (Guinea-Bissau) and Prague and currently resides in Brussels.
